Account & Subscription

Accounts & Subscriptions

Account usage covers creating an account, getting a subscription, refreshing the client and switching devices. If the route list has not changed, first confirm that the client has fetched the subscription again instead of repeatedly switching between old routes in the app.

Do I need an email address to create a QOVPN account?

No. You can create an account with a username and password. Save your credentials securely and choose details that are not easily confused with those used on other websites. After creating an account, open the user panel to choose a plan, get your subscription and access client downloads.

Where can I find my subscription link?

After signing in to the user panel, find your current subscription on the overview or client page. Do not forward subscription details to anyone else or publish them publicly. When importing the link into a client, copy it in full, including the beginning, end and query parameters.

Why doesn’t the client show new routes after I update my subscription link?

Clients usually keep the route list from their last subscription refresh. Find the QOVPN subscription in subscription management and run an update, then return to the routes page. If the update fails, first confirm that the subscription is still valid, then remove the old configuration and import it again from the user panel.

Do I need to buy another plan after switching devices?

No. Switching devices does not require another purchase. QOVPN supports unlimited devices online at the same time, and the same account subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. Traffic from all devices counts toward the current plan.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Connections & Issues

Connection issues are best diagnosed in layers: whether the client establishes a connection, whether the system uses the proxy correctly, whether the app matches the split-routing rules and whether the current network can reach the selected route. Change one condition at a time to isolate the cause.

The client says it is connected, but webpages still won’t load. What should I do?

First switch to another route for the target region, then fully close and reopen the affected browser or app. If the issue continues, check that the client is using the correct proxy mode and that no other software is simultaneously changing the network path. During troubleshooting, keep only one network acceleration client running.

Why does only one app bypass the proxy?

This is usually related to the client’s split-routing rules, LAN direct-connection rules or the app’s own networking behavior. Try Global Mode for comparison. If Global Mode works, the issue is likely rule matching. Then update the subscription and rules, and check whether the app has been added to a direct-connection or bypass list.

What should I do if a connection stays stuck on timeout after switching routes?

Disconnect the current connection first, wait for the system network to recover, then choose another route. You can also test on a different network to determine whether the issue comes from the local network or the current route. If several routes fail, refresh the subscription and submit a ticket with the client message, platform and route name.

How should I troubleshoot a client that cannot connect after a system update?

A system update may reset network permissions, background permissions or proxy settings. Reopen the client and confirm that the required permissions are still enabled, then select a route and reconnect. If the configuration looks abnormal, get the client entry from the user panel and import the subscription again instead of continuing to use an old configuration from an unknown source.

Speed & Routes

Speed & Routes

Route quality is not measured by speed alone. Web response time, sustained transfers, video buffering and app compatibility depend on different factors. QOVPN covers 120+ countries / 230+ routes; select the target region first, then compare route types.

What can I do about video buffering during evening peak hours?

Local congestion, fluctuations on international links and load on the target platform can all affect playback during peak hours. First reduce frequent quality changes caused by automatic player selection, then try other routes in the same region. Match the route to the content’s region rather than judging only by geographic distance.

Should I choose a direct route, a relay route or a dedicated route?

Direct routes have a simpler path and suit cases where the local network reaches the target region reliably. Relay routes adjust the international path and work well for everyday browsing and apps. Dedicated routes focus more on link stability. Choose based on the current network, target region and app performance; no single route is suitable for every situation.

Why isn’t the closest route always the fastest?

Geographic distance is only one factor. Carrier interconnections, routing detours, local access quality and the target service’s region can all change the real-world experience. Start by selecting the target region, then compare available routes by page-load speed, playback stability and app compatibility instead of looking only at city distance.

Which regions does QOVPN cover, and how can I view the route list?

QOVPN covers 120+ countries / 230+ routes. The public server page is useful for viewing regions and route types, while the client subscription available after signing in provides the routes currently available to your account. Routes may change with maintenance and network conditions, so the list shown after a client refresh is the best basis for selection.

Billing & Refunds

Billing & Refunds

Monthly plans and traffic packages use different traffic rules. Monthly-plan traffic resets on the activation date, while package traffic remains available until used and never expires. Consider your usage frequency before choosing instead of comparing only the total allowance.

What monthly plans are available, and when does traffic reset?

Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on your typical browsing, work or media usage rather than a single peak session.

Do traffic packages expire?

Traffic packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with irregular usage who prefer consumption-based access; monthly plans reset traffic each month on the activation date.

How does a mid-cycle upgrade work for a monthly plan?

For a mid-cycle monthly upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the current and target plans in the user panel before confirming. Monthly options are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB and ¥28/month with 500GB.

How do I request a refund, and which payment methods are supported?

QOVPN offers refunds within 14 days, no reason required. To apply, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and refund request for review. Supported methods are Alipay / WeChat / USDT. Before paying, confirm the selected plan, traffic allowance and term.
